The Whyte has just had a bit of an upgrade. Just replaced the X9 stuff for the X0 & the Fox RLC Fork for a 120mm travel SID RLT Ti with a 15mm axle.
I'm now setting the sag & was wondering what would be the optimum % for an XC setup  Undecided
30% of your travel will be a good start point & you can tweak things from there
Around 20% plus or minus 5% depending on taste.  All just guide settings of course.  I always set mine up by feel alone and take no notice of sag.
I'm around about the 25% at the moment so I guess that'll be OK to start with
