Seat post shims

My new bike has a 31.6 seat post and i would like to fit my dropper post to it, my dropper is 30.9 and i was considering using a shim. The main point i can find that seems important is the shim length is there any other points  or advice that i need to consider also everywhere seems out of stock if any one can point me in the right direction for one id appreciate it    Thanks Smile

I am running one, got it direct from USE

I have used the carbon paste, but it does sometimes still make a little noise

Smg, if you don't have any carbon paste, don't buy any as I,ve got some you can have and it lasts for ages.

I recently ordered one, i must have got the last one as it said instock then, it works fine.
