Merlin Cycles
What an absolute pleasure Merlin Cycles are to deal with.
I've been ordering from them for years and they are always spot on.
My HRM strap I bought from them broke. I sent it back to them last Friday, and since then Mike in their returns department has emailed me four times with updates and now the replacement is on its way and I even have a tracking number.
And if that isn't enough of an improvement over CRC and the like, if you phone Merlin a helpful knowledgeable northerner answers the phone and answers questions.
Yeah Merlin are good, just a shame they don't do even half the range of stuff that CRC do. Merlin are usually my first port of call, but i usually find myself back at CRC or Wiggle because Merlin don't have what I want. Shame.
Yup Merlin were very good to deal with when handling my numerous cracked meta frames.
+1 for all of the above.
Price wise they seem to be competitive with CRC and the like, but their range is nowhere near as extensive. It's a shame they cancelled their VIP club thing which pretty much equated to 10% off everything just for ordering it through Merlin... Got some M520 SPD pedals for about £18 a couple of years ago, everywhere else was around £25. They've been going for years too, real LBS feel from a mail order company...
