It's Jon's 1991 Marin Pine Mountain Smile My Dad has an Eldridge Grade (1992?) that Jon *really* wants

Damm almost right! My friend had a 91 Eldridge! I had a second hand Team Marin for a while, 1990 perhaps, forget now. They went to the smooth finish in 92 iirc, earlier ones were a pig to clean! Long time Marin importer are literally ~700 metres from my house as the crow flies

They imported Breezer's for 1992 and I took a wander round their stores in 1994 to see what they had in the way of comestic second Marins and found my bike tucked away in one corner, it had been their demonstrater they took to potential dealers, £475 later it was mine, quite a lot for a 1992 bike bought in 1994 but then the RRP was £1200!

All my friends had either cosmetic second Marins or Breezers back then as they would sell them cheap to local people only
