I understand it needs to be kicked off by my gp first though... Never needed to use it before.

If you need speciist treatment you would need a GP referral whether you go NHS or private. Make an appt and get the ball rolling

Went to docs today, said the usual routine. Prescribed me anti inflammatories and get an xray. Having that tomorrow... See what happens next

Hopefully its not too serious and it clears soon, unlike my frozen shoulder which apparently I'm going to have to put up with for up to 18 months.
But should your dodgy knee turn "terminal", can I have your bike!!!!!!!!  Wink Big Grin  Smile

So... Knee Update....

Seen local Docs, and after 2 visits and an X-Ray - "Theres nothing wrong with you".... "why not have physio?"

Ok, so my knee looks like a football and I cant walk properly, thats fine then.....  ??)

So whats seems like forever, Im now finally in the safe hands of private healthcare and actually being listened to.

Had an MRI scan and other tests yesterday, and now awaiting results.

The service and diagnosis from the NHS has been nothing other than shocking, if I didnt have private cover, Id be no further right now and potentially screwing my knee up more than ever.

I hope I can get this sorted, as sick of doing nothing right now, going on too long.   Sad

Yep i'm pished of with the NHS too. Had ALL the symptoms of gaulstones a while back and told after several hospital visits theres nothing wrong with me, now it's starting again, no sleep at all again Sun night due to the pain, so more smacking my head against a brick wall coming soon as cant afford private. Still have lots of neck pain too despite being told theres nothing wrong with it :Smile Hope you are all sorted soon.
