Weak Knee
Just a mini update, now a week on from the op and my knee is the size of a small football... Apparently a side effect of this kind of op is a fair bit of swelling, it's quite uncomfortable.

The good news is no direct pain and I can walk with crutches and just the brace alone around the house. Following advice I've been eating as healthy as possible (as you can over Xmas) and have only drank alcohol on Xmas and Boxing Day but not to excess.

My new bike jacket and vouchers will have to hold steady until I'm allowed to ride! Although I'd just be happy to go for a walk right now!! Patience required... Very tricky!
Good to hear you're home and moving about. Booze and crutches may be a bad combo, so maybe best to take it easy for now. Good luck for the new year
Keep it foolish...
Ow ow ow!!!

Was told I could try getting on a static bike to pedal gently to get my knee moving, not a chance! I cannot complete a revolution, get my bad leg/foot back to about 7oclock and it's impossible to go any further.

Will leave that for a few more days I think ...... Sad
