That looks good. I remember playing on the Atari ST at school, and pretty sure my old ZX Spectrum and Megadrive are in the loft.

I am now properly addicted to GTR, spent all evening playing it, and in full detail and speed this time Smile AC over the weekend maybe.

Atari ST pff, Amiga ftw, ok the Falcon was alright but still crippled by idiotic memory bus issues. I often play Amiga games still, I have a lovely emu setup, xbox 360 gamepad etc, infact I have most systems setup that way, can't beat a bit of Garou or Blazing Star (Neo Geo)

Not to make anyone feel old, me included but Elite was released in 1984. Title should read 30 years  :o

PS - Amiga pooped all over the Atari  Tongue

I recall wasting a lot of my childhood on Bart Vs The Space Mutants on the Amiga and also F-117A Stealth Fighter which was so advanced it came on a whopping 3, yes 3 floppy disks. Nearly 4MB!

My Dad also wasted a ton of his spare time playing Lemmings.

I've still got a fully working Amiga 64 at home. Wasted so much of my childhood with it. Had some brilliant games. Lemmings was obviously awesome, street fighter, monster slam, data storm, all brilliant.

I wasted loads of time playing Valhalla, light cycles, skool Daze and manic minor on ZX spectrum. GOD knows what my kids would think now if they had to wait 15 mins for a game to load.....

Not to mention having to fast forward to a place on a tape using the counter, then rewind again, when you lose and have to reload level 1.

A school friend who used to live opposite me had a Commodore 64 that used tapes. Never ever experienced the feeling of such sadness when a tape got chewed up, or stretched and then didnt load properly.
