Joys of Commuting
#21
"DaisyDaring" Wrote:Well, after 3 days of riding some pretty gnar trails I misjudged a *hop* up a curb less than a minute from work & managed to land on my face straight over the bars.....

The kind people of Hythe comforted me, mopped up a lot of the blood, called my boss & the ambulance which whisked me up to A&E in double quick time & they are treating me well. I'm headed for X-Ray shortly for injuries to my jaw, nose, cheekbones & left hand.

If I need surgery I'm pinning my hopes on waking up looking much younger than before..... 8)

Oh s*#+, sorry to hear that Rach Sad Hope the Xray's reveal good news!

Mike, does it really sound like an April fool :Smile

Ouch, know how it feels, did a similar thing six months ago attempting to ride down steps on commute home. Don't worry, the flashbacks of the concrete rushing toward your face will fade!
