I've read the rules & they clearly state that if you enter after us, you must remain behind us on the road & finish lower in the overall standing than us.....  honest it does ;D

Ha! I've got that weekend off! But think we'll be off to Wales the 14th, if not the eve of the 13th Undecided

Did anyone else sign up for this? Weather looks [sarcasm]loooovely[/sarcasm] for Sunday, and the mate I signed up to do it with looks to have knackered his leg while out running (presumably forgot his bike). Anyone from here doing it? Andy, you still doing this? Presumably with your extra bits you'll still be registering at the start? What time are you aiming to be there?

All of my team are going off to the Alps to watch the tour so a non-starter for me in the end.  Sad

I've signed up already, going to do it come rain or shine.
Using it a part of my training for the RideLondon100 in August

Could be tempted, maybe!

Bikewheelguy what are you aiming for? I'm interested in the timed 50 but can you do it as a pair?

Teams of 4 for the timed thingy by the look of it, I'll be there for a sharpish depart at 0930 depending how they stagger it, if the weather does what they say I'll be on my hybrid with mudguards so not maximum pace, but still looking for between 3 and 3.5 hours. Nothing stopping you from recording your own time - I'll certainly be strava-ing it, but I think the official recording is for the team event only. Give us a shout if you fancy it and I'll PM you my number so we can arrange to meet.
Argo, I'll PM you my number in case you also want to ride together - I won't be offended if your pace is more Vincenzo Nibali than Vino and Nibbles like mine and you disappear into the rain but it'd be nice to say hi at the start at least.
Took me ages to think of a fast cyclist related pun, any further suggestions welcome.

I was thinking more Bradley Wiggins TT really so I may pass. Long way to go for me for a ride in the rain. Shame as a two up event would be good.

You can do it on your tod? I thought about it, but decided a hilly 50-70 would be more of a challenge than a flat 50 (though the weather isn't conducive ATM). Did a flat 50 last Sunday in the rain  Sad
