the subject says it all, had a ride around the Mereworth area at the weekend, is it ever dry?

I don't think so from what Blackers has said before, Oldbury holds up well and is quite near to it I think

Yes. I just did a loop and it was soft in a could of spots and dry everywhere else. There are areas that never dry out but for obvious reasons I never go there.
The main  bridleways can be bad so knowing how to avoid them helps.
