Been using this caffeinated version of the usual zero electrolyte tabs on and off and it seems to give me a good boost when I'm riding. Normally use 2-3 tabs with about 2 litres of water for a few hours riding. Trouble is I seem to feel terrible the next day, almost like I've had a heavy night on the beer. Symptoms are feeling sick, slightly shaky, bit dizzy and just generally rubbish. Seems every time I use this drink I get this the next day. Has anyone else experienced similar with this or other caffeine drinks if taken during intense exercise? Needless to say I wont be using it any more :X

I drink lots of that and have had no issues, I'm a 5-2 diet loon and drink it the days I'm fasting.

Sounds like your ODing on caffeine!

to be fair, 2-3tabs = almost 200mg caffine, add a coffee during the day and your easily hitting the lower bounds of that link. I don't like caffeine myself, think i have a dodgy heart as it is and the only real benefit it has for exercise is mental focus and fat burning. Had a free one once and didn't notice any difference over normal hydration tabs but then maybe i was hallucinating by that point

it's been over 2 years now and it's a way of life, I don't really find it difficult anymore.
I'd never been on a diet in my life and I wasn't looking for one, I happened watch the Horizon episode where Michael Mosley looked at fasting and I started the next day and never looked back. Any diet where you can have chocolate dipped in double cream for breakfast 5 days a week is a winner for me !
I eat more sugar than the rest of this forum combined and my weight doesn't change. I'm really doing it for the long term benefits I don't want heart disease or diabetes when I get older.
