Recommend a web designer please.
In need of re doing the shops web site. Company we originally used has come back with a quote a tad on the high side. Could anyone recommend a local'ish company please, we're in ashford.
Friend of mine has just started a related business, He's more Graphic design but he does do website design

Bloody nice bloke and extremely fast race driver, he was in Formula Ford with Jenson Button and was the Test Driver and Factory racer for Ariel Atom
My Bro (SlimJ) is a web designer for a fairly large company, I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing he would do on the side or not - I'll ask him if you like?

Assuming you probably don't want something massively complex - have you considered using a wordpress type solution? I believe they're suppose to be fairly simple with various templates on offer etc...?
I used to work with the guy that owns and runs this place -
2010 Canyon Aeroad 9.0 SL
2014 Specialized Epic Marathon
thanks guys for your time to recommend Smile
had a go at a do it yourself route a few years back, and found it a lot harder than I thought :B with all the different platforms like tablets and the many browsers now im thinking it probable even harder.
I would recommend:

Monster creations

Have a chat to him.
How about this chap?

Wordpress has matured a helluvva lot the last few years, there's a huge selection of plugins available and loads of themes/layouts you can use (free or super cool purchasable ones).

I tried them all about 4-5 years ago and gave up, but been on wordpress for 2+ years now, moved some other sites across to it and built some others within it, very flexible system & there's e-commerce plugins all ready to plug n go.

Give it a go mate, assuming you already have a host sorted just login to your C/Panel and install WordPress in a folder to mess with.
I'm going to have a go at the do it yourself route. Had a quote of three grand from one firm and another that I don't need a web site just use face book?
So as said giving it a go myself is probable a good idea. Thanks again everyone for the feed back jelly legs guys sites look awesome and Spider-Man is the worlds top web designer for sure.
