Appledore Military Canal

Being originally northern i dont really know all the places down here ..so anyone ever ridden  Appledore Military Canal ?  need somewhere near to blast as a fitness run 
is it as i imagine, a canal towpath?

Never ridden it, but driven along it loads of times. Pretty, but very flat

This is mostly flat track following the canal,until you get to near Hythe.Approx by Port Lympne Animal Park,you can ride the singletrack trail in the parallel running wood,for 1km or so.Quite twisty through the trees,but will be very muddy at present.

Have never been that far along it,but you should be able to access it where it meets a road at a bridge.Be aware that it might be overgrown in parts,even if its just long grass.
