Sketchy shorts?

nah, average speed is 10-11mph, aerodynamics of your shorts is irrelevant at that speed

It might make a difference on a 100mile road race, but not in a 1hr amatauer race in some woods.

Pretty much everyone has bought freeride jerseys anyway, it would look wrong anyway.

What's wrong with a normal pair of shorts?

We ride st most of the time and only race for about 1% of the other time.

I think demand for sketchy lyrca shorts will be far too
low to justify it.

Nick,

I've raced in Lycra and baggies and can say lycra makes no difference whatsoever,Sorry

Im looking at time trial helmets too now.....   Tongue

Seriously though, we could look at Sketchy "normal" shorts - and probably get them embroidered with the chain-ring logo for a couple of quid a piece.

I had some work shirts made up 2 colour embriodery on chest pocket and long logo on the back (same as whats on the sketchy shirts) all in for £17 each including the shirt.

We would just need to find a batch of shorts and hand them to the person with the kit to do it.

I'm actually a little upset that so many people thought i was serious...  Big Grin

Yes i'll come clean too, we discussed doing this wind up at Bedgebury, you wouldn't catch me dead in some lycra shorts and there is no way i would seriously believe they would make me faster. Pies and beer will do that eventually, oh no wait that's wrong too!

I think the the tops are great, anything else could just be a bit too much!
